A few (more) minutes of fun - with two ways with sprays

Follow
Words and Pictures

In this series you can join me at the craft table once a week for a few minutes of art and craft creativity between ten and twenty minutes usually. But sometimes a project needs a little MORE than just a few minutes... so in A Few (More) Minutes of Fun, you'll be invited along for a deeper dive into my creative process.

Today I'm taking a deep dive into Distress Sprays. I'm creating tag backgrounds by playing with two ways of applying sprays, but also working with different spray formulations to create texture and contrast in those backgrounds. See how Distress Spray Stains, Distress Oxide Sprays and Distress Mica Sprays can mix and match to create magical effects.

Distress Sprays by Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink
Distress Spray Stains: Broken China, Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac, Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky
Distress Oxide Sprays: Peeled Paint, Salvaged Patina, Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky, Uncharted Mariner
Distress Mica Sprays: Empty Tomb, Frosted Juniper, Specimen, Winter Frost

I bought all the products used in this video myself.
