I stayed at Inamura House, an old private house quietly tucked away by the sea in Izusan, Atami City.
Built in 1942 during the war by Kunio Maekawa, a modernist architect, for an acquaintance of his. This Kominka has been revitalized by the DIY efforts of the current owner and is loved by many visitors as a guesthouse.
