There's no better way to close out the weekend than with an adventure!

Sunday (June 11th), a couple friends and I made our way to Northern Arizona to hike to this large hilltop site. The stone walls still stand tall in some places and encircle around half the top of the butte, while the other half is protected by sketchy cliffs.

I presume this site to have been built by the Prescott Culture. While only a few rooms are obvious, the entire site has an approximate circumference of 30,333 ft² according to my Google Earth measurements. We found no artifacts other than pottery sherds, and only one petroglyph. It was one of the largest hilltop sites I've visited and definitely worth the trip!
