I remember the annoying visits at museums when I was a child. Standing in a row, waiting to get a glimpse of something everybody must see.
There is a universal beauty, we all like. But artists find beauty in almost everything, they don't have to look for it. These weeks I'm working on a small series of Amsterdam. I am painting a different part than I do usually. Less known, but more interesting.
