It is important for the female to be between 1 3 years
and for the male 1 6 years

3) Give them a break
Pet budgies can breeding all year long, however it is a mistake not to give them a break

4) Adapting the nutrition
While budgies should always have well balanced and varied diet, but breeding pair need extra protein and calcium for both the parents and chicks

5) Splayed feet
Watch out for what nest box you give, you need to be extra careful and make sure non of the chicks are developing splayed feet.

7) Prevent chicks injuries
I know we all can't wait to start playing with our chicks, but be careful to not let them get hurt as they are still learning how to fly and can easily crash into walls that they see
