On the 4th March 1963 many of the smaller GCR stations on the Main Line closed, including Quorn and Woodhouse, Rothley and Rushcliffe Halt.
60 years on, Rushcliffe Halt is coming back to life thanks to the incredible work of the volunteers there. Nearby Hotchley Hill signalbox is also being revived with work making excellent progress.
This is a short film to bring you up to date. If you like what you see and would like to donate, the LNER GC Trust holds a ring fenced pot to fund the work and anything you give makes a difference. The details you need are CAF Bank, Sort code 405240, Account number 0001 0221.
Thank you for your support.
