Chef Dave Palmer returns to his home state of Alabama for the premier episode of 50by50 a culinary journey through all 50 United States to be completed by the time he reaches 50 years old. In this episode Dave visits the venue of his wedding and old L&N train depot that is now a restaurant called "The Depot". He and his wife are join by Cancer Freeze founders, Caleb and Jennifer for dinner. Then he heads off to Montgomery, AL to visit and cook with his grandma in her home kitchen. This is a heartwarming first episode to kick off his culinary adventure!
