We start with the assembly of a bare block fresh from the machine shop.

Sequence for tightening main cap bolts
Stages of bolt torquing
how to measure and gap piston rings
Discuss the optimum placement of the piston ring gaps around the piston
How to compress the rings while installing the pistons
Installing head gaskets
Installing ARP head studs
Installing intake manifold
Installing a water pump
