Nach über 10jähriger Aufarbeitung konnte am 1. April 2024 die erste öffentliche Fahrt der 50 2273 der Unterländer Eisenbahnfreunde Heilbronn e. V. auf der Strohgäubahn von Korntal nach Weissach stattfinden. Die Lokomotive entstand aus der 50 3539 und wurde mit beträchtlichem zeitlichen und finanziellen Aufwand soweit möglich in einen Zustand der 1950er Jahre zurückversetzt. Aber noch besser: sie steht wieder unter Dampf und macht einen ausgezeichneten technischen Eindruck! Gratulation, liebe Eisenbahnfreunde aus Heilbronn und: Respekt! After more than 10 years of refurbishment, the first public run of the 50 2273 of the Unterländer Eisenbahnfreunde Heilbronn e. V. on the Strohgäubahn from Korntal to Weissach took place on 1 April 2024. The locomotive was created from the 50 3539 and was restored as far as possible to its 1950s condition at considerable expense in terms of time and money.
