Nach 87 Jahren und 167 Tagen hieß es am 04.08.2019 endgültig Abschied nehmen von der einzigartigen Dampflok 01 118. Ihre wohl letzte Ruhe fand sie in Battenberg, wo sie gemeinsam mit noch einer, mir nicht bekannten, Dampflok hinter Gittern und gut behütet in einer Halle untergebracht ist.

After 87 years and 167 days, on August 4th, 2019 it was time to say goodbye to the unique steam locomotive 01 118. It probably found its final resting place in Battenberg, where together with another, unknown to me, steam locomotive behind bars and well protected in one Hall is housed.
