1. Raise and wag their tail
Cats express their emotion
using their tail.
When cats are happy or excited,
they will raise their tail and slowly move it about.
However, if they shake the tail fast
or hit the floor with it,
it means that they’re in a bad mood.
2. Plumped up muzzle
Cats are able to express their feelings
with the whisker pad on their muzzle.
Just as the corner of humans’ lips go up when they are happy,
cats’ lips are perked up when they feel good.
When this happens,
you’ll notice that
their muzzle also becomes plumped up.
3. Whiskers fan upward
Cats can also signal their emotions
through their whiskers.
For example, if their whiskers are flagging down,
it might mean that
they are not in a good mood.
On the flip side, however,
if cats had fun with their owner playing hunt,
then the tip of their whiskers
will fan out and upward.
4. Wider pupils
Cats’ pupils will become bigger or smaller
according to the various emotions
and situations.
For instance, if cats are afraid,
their pupils will widen
along with a plumped up tail or flattened ears.
However, if their pupils are bigger
while playing hunt with the owner,
it means that they are extremely excited
to have fun with the owner.
5. Wiggle their bottoms
When playing hunt with the owner,
cats sometimes lower their body, wiggle their bottoms,
and wait for the right timing to attack.
For cats, wiggling their rear ends
is an instinctive behavior that they show
when they’ve located a prey
and it means that they are having fun playing hunt.
