This is Calie, the only calico kitten in Lily's litter. She is eight weeks old now and already has a "forever home" that she is going to next week.

This video shows how much she loves to love me and of course how much I love her. It's going to be a very empty and lonely Saturday as they are all leaving to go to Vancouver. George their fosterdaddy cat and Spiffy their older foster brothercat and I are going to find it very quiet and empty as these little guys have had the run of the house during the daytime for the past several weeks. At night they sleep in the bathroom.

It's been a wonderful experience and I learned a lot with this litter since I had to take over their mother's responsibilities when she could no longer do it herself. I've been close and attached to three litters prior to this one but this one in particular is different, because I was their sole caregiver and they grew to think that I was really their mother. They know my voice and come immediately when they hear me. They follow me wherever I go.

Yes.... this is going to be difficult. But I would and will do it again in a heartbeat.
