Each chamber was filled with a different type of bedding material: Chamber #1 had leaves, #2 had cardboard, and #3 had paper. Then in went the red wiggler composting worms. Periodically water and grit (pulverized eggshell) were added. Also, as needed, additional material was loaded in when the levels dropped low.


When you watch the entire video carefully you come across various interesting things such as, in the cardboard chamber, the worm that tries over & over to get a triangular piece of leaf down into its hidy hole... or the family of spiders that visit the bin. See if you can find these examples and let me know what else you find while watching.
