300km Drive For Thailand's Best FRIED CHICKEN (Yes!! Road Trip in Northern Thailand)

Go Daeng Restaurant in Thoen District, Lampang serves one of the most unique and incredible recipes of fried chicken in all of Thailand. Since my first time visiting Thoen, I have never forgotten this restaurant, I am so happy to bring Li on a roadtrip here today!

The cycling is done, and the FOOD side of the road trip is happening now! Our visit to Sukhothai was a success, but even starting the trip I knew that this Fried Chicken (day 3 out of a 4 day trip) was going to be worth every kilometer. This is video three in the fourpart series, I hope these unique recipes interest you to learn more about offthebeatenpath type meals when you are taking your next trip (to Thailand, or to anywhere!).

Go Daeng is a very small restaurant located near the second stoplight of the small town of Thoen. A small town on a huge highway, this is one of those places that you'll have marked for a roadtrip lunch or dinner (depending on which way you're heading) anytime you travel from Bangkok to Chiang Mai.

This is highway 1, which connects Bangkok to Mae Sai (over 800km), but I would easily label this as a highlight of the entire trip. This fried chicken is one food worth traveling for, thank you for hanging out with Li and I here today!

See you for the final dish on Thursday, the famous "Kuay Teow Sukhothai" Noodles, but I hope you're having a wonderful evening right now.
Love Joel and Li.

COST OF THE MEAL:
Everything we eat in this video totals to 640 Thai Baht (About 18$US)
(Thank you to all the ladies of the 'Go Daeng' Staff!)
