Three Key Questions to Determine Your IUL Readiness:

Freedom from Consumer Debt: Are you currently free of consumer debt, excluding your mortgage and auto loan? If not, it's essential to focus on clearing those debts first to understand your true discretionary income.

Existing Retirement Strategies: Do you have other retirement strategies in place, like a Roth IRA or a 401k (especially with a company match)? This shows you're taking advantage of lowcost options to build a solid retirement plan.

Discretionary Income of $500 or More: After addressing debts and having retirement plans, do you have at least $500 per month in discretionary income? This ensures that your IUL contributions are a true investment, not a financial burden.

Why These Questions Matter:
We conduct around a thousand Discovery calls yearly, and about 40% of them are with people who aren't quite ready for an IUL. That's okay! It's crucial not to rush into a product without being financially prepared.
