Emma Hubbard

Often what feels natural to us when trying to teach a toddler to talk doesn't actually help with their language development. In fact, if you're making some of the common mistakes in this video you might even be preventing them from learning to talk as quickly as they might if you made a few small changes.

Teaching a toddler to talk is such a fun process for both the child and for parents. The excitement and joy that both sides experience as your little one learns new words and sounds is amazing. It's a wonderful feeling when you and your little one smile and celebrate each new word together.

In this video you'll learn some helpful techniques that will make the process faster, as well as learning the most common mistakes to avoid.

As always, you shouldn't feel bad if you've been doing any of these things! It's really common and not a big deal. But by understanding why these mistakes can actually slow down the process and knowing what to do instead, hopefully you're able to avoid potential frustration and even delays as your toddler learns to talk.
