Before setting off on the 1,200km Great Divide Trail we took a road trip to a couple national parks. Glacier was high on my list as I had never been before, it is home to the Continental Divide Trail, and the environment is very similar here as to what we will experience in the Canadian Rockies on our thru hike.

Grizzly bears, massive glaciated mountains, lush forests, snow, mosquitoes, and all manner of fun smaller wildlife. We decided to hike the 60 mile Northern Loop through Glacier National Park, and try to do it in just three days. The hike could be as little as 50 miles depending on where you start, but given permits can be hard to get we had some bonus miles to do.

It was an incredible hike, and one I would certainly recommend.
