An update of our backyard garden (Quebec, Canada) where crops are starting to produce food for us. In this episode : showing crops in containers of all types, shapes and sizes; doing our best to give each seedling and growing plant a chance to survive and thrive. Of course, we could not save them all, and more will be lost along the way. Still have the experience about vine borer (blackred moths and their larvae) attacks on squash plants to tell in a future video.

Pets update : Jjay the jolly black dog and her owner (our daughter) visit us about twice a week, dogsitting services while his parent goes to work. Truffle has left the building, he's living in Montreal now. Missing him badly, but comforted in the thought that his new parents are giving him lots of love and attention; and really taking good care of him. Many thanks to them. Grateful also for the pictures and video footage taken at their place to show us how he's doing. Truffle is gradually settling in his new residence in Montreal (indoors) ... and neighbourhood (outdoors). We are letting the Patchworks household get into a familiar routine and Truffle discover a whole new better & more exciting world out there before we show up to meet Truffle again.
