The new 2023 Cadillac Escalade V ($178,898 in Canada, $149,990 in the US) is the biggest, baddest and loudest SUV from GM, and it’s the first to wear a VSeries badge. An already beefy 6.2 L V8 has been made even beefier for the V, thanks to a supercharger that’s bigger than the one in the mighty CT5V Blackwing. To handle the 682 horsepower through its fulltime AWD system, the Escalade V has seen numerous improvements, such as: a forged steel crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, and an adaptive air ride suspension system that has been designed and tuned for the V model.
