With Lincoln's CoPilot 360™ Enhanced Active Park Assist, parking in tight spots have been made less stressful. Using a combination of cameras and ultrasonic sensors, Active Park Assist helps guide the vehicle into parking spaces perfectly. And with Enhanced Active Park Assist, as shown in this video, the system actively steers the vehicle into a parallel or perpendicular parking space, and can move out of a parallel parking space.
This system is much more handsfree than the Active ParkSense system seen in FCA vehicles. With the Ford/Lincoln system, the vehicle controls steering, braking and gear changes, where the FCA vehicles require the driver to control braking and forward movement, as well as gear changes.
