The first stop of the 2020 Season was on Lake Norman in Charlotte NC. It proved to be a super difficult practice. In two full days of practice I only managed to catch 3 keepers. I was very worried about how the tournament would go and it didn’t get much easier. I spent the first half of the day with an empty live well until I made a good decision to run North into the stained region of the lake and fish in a way that I’m most comfortable. I had 5 fish on and only landed 3. I ended up finishing 48th out of 154 boats which was not too bad of a way to start the year.
