We are selling our 1997 Fleetwood American Dream Motorhome.

We lived in it for a fulltime for a year with our two kids prior to buying a home in Southern, UT. Now that we are no longer living out of it fulltime we are looking to downsize.

We have done a lot of customization to set it up for a family of 4, and have updated most of the RV, including new batteries, solar panels, water efficient dishwasher, LED lighting throughout motorhome, engine revamp, newly coated roof, new blackout roller shades and so much more not to mention fully remodeling the interior.

While living this RV we went all over the West Coast and much of the West. We really enjoyed our time being able to visit so many different places and truly loved our time on the road. This beautiful RV is now ready for you and your family to make many memories wherever your wanderings take you!

Specs:
~60,000 miles on the engine
100 Gallon fresh water tank
40 Gallon black tank
60 Gallon grey tank
100 Gallon fuel tank
5KW Onan generator
5,000 lb towning capacity
4 KWh battery ( ~4 hours of running a microwave )
600 Watts of Solar
Lots of underfloor storage ( we fit 2 bikes, plus a kayak, tent, chairs, laundry drying rack, art and craft supplies, with room to spare )
2 AC units that keep the motorhome cool
Tinted windows to block out prying eyes
Large awning over kitchen/living room area
Awnings over every window
Exterior water hose for spraying off muddy shoes or rinsing off sandy legs
And so much more!

Here are some of the updates we have completed to make this motorhome a top notch candidate for family fun:

Converted the master bed room in the rear of the RV into a kids room with underfloor storage
Updated cabinetry with a fresh coat of paint and new hardware
Installed 600 Watts of solar panels on the roof ( charges the batteries to 100% in a single day )
Installed a 60 Amp solar charge controller ( keeps the batteries full )
Installed a new Lithium Iron Phosphate battery to replace the house lead acid batteries ( 4 Kwh, enough to run a microwave ~ 4 hours )
Coated roof of RV to protect the rubber roof membrane
Replaced hot water heater gas valves
Replaced fan motors on the two furnaces
Bought a macerating pump to be able to dump the tanks in locations that need one ( uphill, etc )
Replaced the washing machine with a dish washer (didn't use the washing machine as it used too much water, dishwasher uses less than 1 gallon per cycle )
New blackout roller shades for the windows
Newly painted walls with bead board accents
Installed new energy efficient LED lights
Replaced sink hardware
Replaced shower hardware
Purchased a pair of snow socks ( just in case we needed them, provide extra traction on snow )

Things that come with the RV:

Underskirt that we haven't used and is still in great condition
Complete cover also in great condition
Tire covers
Window covers
Manuals for everything in the RV
Step stool

Things that would be negotiable if buyer is interested:

CarCaddy that we bought when we got the RV
Water hauling bag ( 30 gallons, I think ) to fill the tanks if needed. Is very useful when dry camping w/o hookups.

Updates to consider:

It probably should have a new set of tires and an oil change. It has been sitting for a year, with us starting it every about every other month. The tires have developed small cracks in the side walls, and it would be good to get them checked out and replaced if needed. If you want, we can get new tires installed, and roll the cost into the purchase price of the RV. Then you don't have to purchase tires separately.
