Its January in Canada. Annual startup and quick ride on the vintage sled. Manufactured in September of 1972, this Arctic Cat Cheetah has not been restored rather it has been preserved. Original engine, track, body, seat and most other parts. It has been disassembled, cleaned and polished with several small upgrades including ignition system, carburetor and primary clutch. There are small blemishes here and there which give it the patina and character I like in a preserved state. Last licensed in 1976 it spent most of its life in the back of a family friends garage until I received it about 15 years ago. Thanks to George and Ruth for allowing me to save it and preserve it. While it doesn't get too many miles anymore it has had many hours of enjoyment pulling the kids around on a saucer. Hope you have enjoyed the video.
