VN24 Hamm / Germany In the morning around 07:00 a container loaded swap body trailer of an articulated tractortrailer crashed into the righthand guard rails on the A1 motorway in the direction of Cologne. Here the right rear tyre has come loose and the rim has wedged under the crash barrier. The rear axle broke off and the trailer partially lay down on this crash barrier. The driver was not injured. For the complex recovery a rotator crane had to be requested. Since the traffic on the motorway was not to be stopped, the rotator had to work overhead to use only one lane for the complicated recovery.
