As most of you know, I just had a #birthday and turned #17! My mom put together another Amazing Race style road trip for me and my friends, and we weren’t allowed to use any GPS at all, ONLY an atlas! Do you think you’d be able to get around without your phone GPS??

We split up into 2 cars just like we did last year. We also had team names this year, and my team was “Team Lime”! It was me, Brooklyn, my cousin Preston and our friend, Allison! We were confident going in that we would make it to our destination first since we won last year!

The other car was “Team Lemon” and it was Bailey, Asa (Bailey’s bf), our cousin Carlie, and @BrooklynAndBailey ‘s friend, Matt!

My mom would send us clues in order for us to get from location to location, and it was honestly so much fun! Our first night we ended up at Asa’s 2 Mama’s house, where we rang in the new year with poppers, Martinelli's, and watching the ball drop! The next day, we drove through New Orleans, stopped for beignets at Cafe Du Monde, and then we were on our way to our FINAL destination!

It was NECK AND NECK between the two cars! We honestly had a huge lead ahead of the other team, but as we were coming up on the AirBnb, our luck changed! It was very dark outside, and getting to the house would have honestly been confusing even in the daylight lol it was so confusing to get to!

We ended up passing the road that we needed to turn on several times, and it put us back almost 30 minutes! This gave the other team plenty of time to catch us, and they even ended up beating us in the end! Brooklyn and I are pretty competitive, so we were upset for a minute…

As soon as we saw the AirBnb, we got over it quickly! The house was in Mississippi, and it was so cute! There were so many fun things to do in the area, and we got lots of cool pictures. Make sure you’re following me on instagram so you don’t miss any of the pictures from our trip!
