I stayed at a budget capsule hotel in the Philippines. In Quezon city, part of Metro Manila, is Dormitos Capsule hotel. For ₱750 or $13.00 USD, you can spend the night in a spaceship pod. Capsule hotels are quite popular in other countries such as Japan, but I have not heard much about them being used here in the Philippines. I booked a night at the hotel, and got to see first hand the facilities and amenities.

After my stay I went across the street to Leare Bear's Bakery, a small local shop in E. Rodriquez Barangay to sample some of her fine baked goods.
