/ we   rode a 1200 mile trip on the old 98 Harley Davidson Electra Glide to the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. During the trip, while not knowing the motorcycle very well yet, we had a couple of issues but nothing too serious. However, it added to the adventure of riding an old Harley on a long road trip. We were able to get a place to stay at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground in Cruso N.C. while we did some riding around the area. The 1200 miles on the old Electra Glide was quite a game changer (so to speak) as far as traveling as it also handled the mountains and sharp turns as well through Cherokee and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was also to make acquaintance with Richard and Chris from "Two Wheels Big Life"; a couple of fellow youtubers who happened to be camping in the same motorcycle campground as we were.
