Just over 4 weeks old now, the K litter is ready to explore the rest of the room. Today they are introduced to the 'big kids' litter box which they will be using once they have run of the house. The pink thing you see is a little invention I'm trying out, which is canvas material wrapped around a wire clip that provides something the little ones can climb to get over the lip of the large litter boxes, and it can also be laundered if necessary. I don't know yet how well this will work, but it should get them over with deeper litter inside and a ramp outside until they are 6 weeks old or so and can leap tall buildings.
