In the nottoodistant future, the survivors of 10,000 people live in a huge bunker 144 stories deep. People believe that the world is dead, the air outside is poisoned, and it is deadly to go to the surface. They get all their information from huge screens broadcasting images from outside cameras. Day after day, looking at the lifeless gray landscape, the inhabitants uncomplainingly obey the established rules, the most important of which is never to leave the bunker.
