Everyone wants abs, but few are willing to do what it takes…. Nutrition….. That’s why so few people have them, because it’s hard and it takes time….
However, it’s still important to work our abs for several reasons. Stability! Core muscles provide stability for your spine! And how many of you have back problems? Lots I expect. Abs support ALL upper and lower body movements, and are good for posture and lower back pain. A strong core is especially important as we get older!
There are going to be 2 different ways to do today’s workout.
Advanced: as 3 pairs of supersets (with rest after each superset)
Beginner: as 6 individual exercises (with rest after each exercise)
Each exercise is done for 30 seconds whether you are advanced or a beginner.
Here are the exercises in this 10 minute workout to harden your abs:
Exercise 1a: MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
Exercise 1b: REVERSE PLANK
Exercise 2a: ELBOW PLANK
Exercise 2b: FLUTTER KICKS
Exercise 3a: SEATED TWISTING PUNCH
Exercise 3b: LEG LIFTS
