10 MHz Reference Distribution Amplifier from Video DA (Part 1)

In this video, we take a Sierra Video Systems Video Distribution Amplifier (model 801012) and characterize it for a future modification to be used as a 10 MHz Reference Source and Distribution Amplifier. I didn't mention it in the video much, but my plan is to create a lownoise highstability 10 MHz for my lab equipment. There won't be any fans, switchmode supplies, or microcontrollers. Just simple linear and analog circuits. Since my doubleoven OCXO hasn't arrived yet, this video is just an overview and test of the video DA. The DA has plenty of bandwidth for a 10 MHz sine wave and even a 10 MHz TTL would probably be fine given the response out to ~70 MHz.

Part 2: Installing the OCXO with a custom LDO regulator circuit:

The final version will include an onboard OCXO and a 5 MHz divideddown output for some instruments that need it.
