Life is difficult, but if you develop certain habits, life can become slightly easier. In this video, I share 10 frugal living habits that have made my life easier.

1. Exposing Myself To Different Ways Of Living

It is important to leave your bubble and see how other people live their lives. When you expose yourself to people of different walks of life it often makes you better and more resourceful with money.

2. Increasing My Quality of Life Intentionally

Once you choose it upgrade your life and get something nicer it is very hard to go back. It is important to be in the habit of being intentional of increasing your quality of life because if you don't then you could trap yourself in an expensive lifestyle.

3. Knowing When To Stop Increasing My Quality of Life

Spending more money can increase your quality of life, but there comes a point where the changes stop being so drastic. It's important to be in the habit of knowing when nicer things stop improving your quality of life and avoid getting in a tough financial situation.

4. Having Periods Of Aggressively Saving

In certain periods of my life I have saved at an aggressive pace to speed up the process and reach my goals quicker. I find that when you take moments to save faster, you have more time to do what you want in life.

5. Having A General Understanding Of Things Before Seeking Help

In our world, many people are trying to take advantage of you and get your money. One thing that has been beneficial in my life is before hiring someone to do something for me, do some research beforehand so that I do not get ripped off.

6. Being Adaptable

In this uncertain world, you have to learn to adapt with it or you will put yourself in a tough financial situation. If you get in the habit of adapting to whatever life throws at you, you can come out of uncertain times less harmed.

7. Avoiding Debt

Debt is very normalized in our society, which makes most people slaves to their debt. If you get in the habit of only spending what you have and avoiding debt, you can avoid putting yourself in a tough financial situation.

8. Owning My Car

Many people spend their entire adult lives with car payments. Constantly getting a new car once their old one is paid off. If you get in the habit of reaching ownership and avoiding car payments, it one less big bill you'll have in life.

9. Creating My Own Definition Of Success

We often follow this default image of success consisting of a fancy job title, money, and abundance; however, this often pushes people in a tough financial situation. If you get in the habit of developing your own definition of success, you will avoid the consequences that come from chasing the superficial definition of success.

10. Living With Gratitude

Many people in this world feel entitled to a high quality of life and take everything they have for granted. It is important to live with gratitude in life and when you do, you end up being more content with what you have. And when you are more content with what you have, life naturally becomes easier.
