In this quick 10 mins video we look back over 1 year and all we have achieved at Château Trois Cloches, showing before and after videos of the rooms and projects we started. A montage of a year's work, in just ten minutes!

We dealt with dry rot, leaking roofs, and gave the stunning ORANGERY designed by Gustav Eiffel (of Eiffel Tower fame) a bold makeover with tile paint. We renovated and decorated 4 of the bedrooms in the Château. And last but not least, we started building our own NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, all by ourselves having never laid a brick in our life.

We bought this beautiful Chateau in Northern France near Honfleur in June 2022 after deciding that life was too short not to follow our dreams.

We have had to keep our full time jobs to help pay for the restorations and so do all of the work in our spare time! Every last minute, and every last penny has gone into transforming this place to its full potential all while recording our adventure with the Chateau DIY* film crew.

Our first year was full on, but we are so proud of what we have managed to achieve with hard work, determination and a BIG dream. And yes we are probably a bit crazy!!

A bit about us We are Chris (the tall one) and Jolyon (the less tall one). We met working at the Foreign Office, and got married in another Château south of Paris in 2018. We have both always separately had a dream of living in a Château, so it was a match made in heaven. We also have our gorgeous St Bernard, Bo, she loves Trois Cloches, and can regularly be seen working in the garden, digging, or moving branches for us. The end goal is to have a beautiful Chateau available for big groups to hire, or the perfect location for a wedding! We try to capture as much of the renovations as possible for Youtube, so do follow along to see the transformation. We are big believers in bold maximilist design, which fits with the Chateau's Belle Époque era. Château Trois Cloches translates to Castle of 3 Bells. So ding dong, come and ring in the changes with us x

The Chandelier was provided by The Lighting Company, the paint used was Fitzrovia in the Pink room, Bond Street and Grouse in the Blue main room, and Brompton Road Green in the Green room; all from Mylands Paints.
