We are following our dreams to build a 40ft pilot cutter inspired wooden boat. Two years into the build we decided it was time to start sharing our journey with you all! “Tarkine” is built from sustainably sourced Tasmanian Timbers, she is cold moulded and will displace 16ton when she kisses the water. For the majority of the time it has been the two of us and our faithful dog Obie. We hope to get Tarkine floating and sail to Iefke’s home waters of the Netherlands, got to dream big!
