In today's Guess Who, we meet a family selling hot pot at Taiwan's night markets. 30 years ago, ARong and his thengirlfriend, AXia, left the poverty of their rural hometown with a dream of carving a niche for themselves in the city. Working 1617 hours a day, they built their business up from a tiny stall at the market to a bustling 5060 table hot pot stand attracting hungry diners from far and wide. However, despite becoming successful entrepreneurs, ARong and AXia have never forgotten their roots. Together with other successful market traders, they founded the Night Market Benevolence Society to help lowincome families with funeral expenses and ensure that everyone receives a proper sendoff. In this episode, we discover how a piece of stern advice in ARong's youth helped steer him to success; why ARong triumphed in getting his kids to follow in his footsteps when so many other market traders have failed; and that for ARong's kids, despite the special camaraderie of market traders and taking pride in their job, working nights leaves them with a thorny dilemma.
