Booked with Royal Jordanian. Due to an airport closure in Amman due to poor weather conditions, my flight was cancelled.
As a business class passenger, I was offered a next day flight on Thai Airways after staying one night at the Steigenberger hotel. Payed by Royal Jordanian.
The plane, an old B777, in a very bad condition. Pretty scruffy. In addition, the builtin individual parts on the seats are not well processed. Uncomfortable, inconvenient seat access.
However, the Thai Airways staff was super friendly and tried really hard.
The presentation and the quality of the food on board was super good. And very delicious. Great choice of beverages. But no menucard. No amenity kit. The maintenance of the aircrafts passenger cabin also leaves a lot to be desired.
It`s clearly to see how Thai Airways has extremely reduced compared to a few years ago.
In addition, there is no comparison to a flight with a change after a few hours. Just to stretch your legs again. Plus dutyfree shopping halfway.
An 11h30min flight is exhausting, even in business class.
