Aberdeen Falls is a 98 m (322 ft) high waterfall on the Kehelgamu Oya near Ginigathena, in the Nuwara Eliya District of Sri Lanka. Aberdeen Waterfall powerpacked natural wonder, at 300 plus feet, serene to a fault during the height of the dry season yet wild and dangerous when the rains set in. Thus, bathing or any waterrelated fun at the bewitching pool at the foot of the falls is a definite NO. Behold from a distance. It is not easy to take in the beauty from a pic unless taken from far above, so a drone could be of help for any serious shutterbug. Just off Ginigathena, the tiny, winding road hugging the hillsides would take the traveler to the vicinity and then the hike downhill under thick foliage to the viewpoint.
Aberdeen Waterfall is ranked as the 18th highest on the Island.
