എന്താണ് സ്നാനം?

6:4 അങ്ങനെ നാം അവന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ പങ്കാളികളായിത്തീർന്ന സ്നാനത്താൽ അവനോടുകൂടെ കുഴിച്ചിടപ്പെട്ടു; ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചിട്ടു പിതാവിന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ ജീവിച്ചെഴുന്നേറ്റതുപോലെ നാമും ജീവന്റെ പുതുക്കത്തിൽ നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
6:5 അവന്റെ മരണത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തോടു നാം ഏകീഭവിച്ചവരായെങ്കിൽ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തോടും ഏകീഭവിക്കും.
6:6 നാം ഇനി പാപത്തിന്നു അടിമപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം പാപശരീരത്തിന്നു നീക്കം വരേണ്ടതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ പഴയ മനുഷ്യൻ അവനോടുകൂടെ ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

Romans
6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
