لماذا نشتري منتج يطلب منا ألا نشتريه؟
تتناول الحلقة السجائر وتاريخ التدخين من زاوية غير دعائية أو ترويجية إنما تأمل في المبررات التاريخية التي صاحبت عادة قاتلة مثل التدخين وأكسبتها جاذبيتها في الثقافات المُختلفة بدءًا من العالم الجديد منشأ نبات التبغ وصولًا للثقافات الاوروبية والآسيوية والشرقية التي احتضنت التبغ وبات جزء من عادات سكانها.
في سرد قصصي تتنوع فيه قصة السيجارة بين كونها رمز للطبقات العليا لكونها علاج استرخاء وقت الحروب لكونها رمز وطني أو سينمائي أو رمز للتحرر النسوي. وكل قصة للسيجارة في عصر بعينه أكسبت صناعة التبغ مستهلكين مخلصين يلبوا إحتياجات نفسية عاجلة بامتلاك عادة التدخين
في الوقت الحاضر مايزال التدخين عادة شائعة رغم أن السجائر باتت السلعة الوحيدة التي يُجبر صناعها على أن يُصاحب بيعها رسالة مُباشرة توضح أضرارها التي تصل للوفاة في تحذير مكتوب ومُصور طبيًا بشكل مُنفر
