Zuma is a standard Dachshund with an awesome history of purpose bred working dogs and it shows! She loves to work no matter on the challenge! She can do it all and loves doing it! We hope to inspire others to teach their own dog tricks no matter the breed!

Most dogs were bred to have a job to work with humans. Dogs thrive on interaction and mental/physical stimulation, tricks and canine sports are amazing options to give your dog an outlet and positive experiences and time spent with their owners.

We do not advise anyone to try some of these tricks if you're not 100% sure on how to train them properly, or if your dog isn't lean and conditioned as you may create a higher risk of injury. We believe keeping the mind/body busy and happy will keep a dog in tip top shape and we luckily have never had any back issues or any case of IVDD of Dachshund ownership of the last 17 years of owning them. We have our own beliefs on canine fitness, our vets are amazed with our dogs body condition so we will continue to do what we love!
