Zombicide: Invader Miniature Review

Follow
The Gaming Tome

My quest of collecting miniatures for miniature gaming brought me to Zombicide: Invader. In this video I share what I like and do not like (I like these minis) about the game's miniatures as well as their uses across the miniature gaming genre.

It is time for me to wrap up my thoughts on the miniatures of Zombicide: Invader. These models will look familiar if you have seen my videos on painting the survivors and Xenos. Here I focus a little less on how I decided to paint these miniatures and more on their usefulness outside of the board game. That is not to say that I will not touch upon some paint scheme possibilities. Looking over these minis has given me some ideas. I am a proponent for using proxies in miniature gaming. The models that come with this game are great and I can see them being used in a variety of tabletop roleplaying games as well as on the miniature wargaming side of the hobby. On a side note, this video took significantly longer to make than I was expecting, but I think that extra time paid off. Enjoy!

Zombicide is a cooperative zombie bashing board game that pits one to six players up against a zombie horde. Depending on the scenario your team may be scavenging for supplies, trying to defeat the horde, or just trying to escape. Regardless, it is a race against time. If you are not quick enough, the undead masses will grow and overwhelm you. The Zombicide series spans three genres (fantasy, modern, and scifi) and each core game features a bunch of miniatures.
