Sandals Emerald Bay Full Resort Walking Tour & Review

Know before you go! I have put together a full tour of Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, Exuma.

There are two Sandals Resorts in the Bahamas, Emerald Bay (Exuma) and Sandals Royal Bahamian (Nassau).

Sandals Emerald Bay is just 15 minutes from the airport and a quiet, hidden gem. If you want to get away from it all this is the AllInclusive resort for you. Now if you want shopping, night life and casinos, don’t go to Exuma. Go to Sandals Royal Bahamian.

Sandals Emerald Bay has one of the Best Beaches. Sandals Emerald Bay has white sand and a cove area so there is pretty much nobody on the beach. This beach is also just a 35 minute flight from Miami, so Exuma makes for a perfect long weekend get away from the US.

This is a relaxing resort but there are some night life places like the piano bar was a blast and also the Drunked Duck, English Pub, defiantly had a few of my friends living up to the name.

But overall the resort is very laid back. I did love the Soy (Sushi) Kimonos (Hibachi) and the Bomba Club (Indian) restaurants.

I also took a tour of the golf course during sunset and had a sunset champaign party on the 18th green. The golf course with the cliffs and ocean was spectacular.

Golf is included and also Scuba is included. I took the Discover Scuba Course at Sandals when I was there too. So there are loads of activities plus three pools. Now remember that the Bahamas is fairly close to Florida and it is warmer there, but during the winter months the pools can be chili and the breeze at night can also get a little cool. Sandals Emerald Bay does have these firepits around the pool area and they are a popular hang out spot at night and also make for great photos.
