Your cute kitty will thank you for a great big cat tree!

Is there anything better for your cat than a great big cat tree with lots of different levels to hang out on and cosy beds and hammocks to plant themselves in? I don't think so!

Cat trees may take up a lot of space in the home and some are pretty gordy I'll admit, but your cat needs their own space a place that is just for them. Once they are well used scratched on loads and slept in loads they will be heavily marked and smell lovely to your cat. Your cat tower may become the ultimate territory marker, reducing their need to urine mark or scratch on the furniture.

Cat trees with high platforms can really bring more shy cats out of their shell giving them a safe place where they can survey their territory without being the centre of the room. It can give them a place to retreat to when they feel scared or get spooked, rather than retreating to the back of the wardrobe or under the bed.

In a multicat household, cat trees are a game changer in stopping cats being so aggressive and helping them get along. Eye contact is super intimidating between cats, so enabling them to sleep in the same space, but on different levels means they are out of each others eye line and can relax with the other cat nearby.

One last thing! If you buy a cat tree and your cat doesn't use it move it to a different place, preferably somewhere you are, and somewhere warm.

Does your cat have a cat tree? Do they love it? Let me know in the comments!
