The Coleus is one of the easiest and most forgiving plants I have every grown. As long as you keep it warm and sort of moist, your Coleus will be a happy plant. Whether you are growing Coleus indoors or outdoors, the beautiful foliage makes this plant a stunner all year long.

Coleus propagation is also a breeze. You can take cuttings and put them directly in soil or my preferred method, water. At the end of the growing season, Coleus seeds are easy to harvest allowing you to grow Coleus every spring.

Start your seeds indoors 68 weeks before the last frost or wait until it warms and sow directly on soil. Some Coleus like full sun and others prefer shade. Do a little research and see which is best for your variety, but you can't go wrong with morning sun and afternoon shade. If given to much sun the leaves will bleach.
