This short video provides a high level explanation of the YORK magnetic bearing driveline technology. This frictionfree and oilfree technology is used on the YORK YMC2 and YORK YZ watercooled centrifugal chillers. During the demonstration we literally hit the driveline cutaway with a hammer to demonstrate the rapid response of the magnet.
