When we found out one of our members was using her time and talent to help the homeless in our community, our employees stepped up to help her out.

Our member recently told us that she crochets hats for the homeless in honor of her son, who passed away several years ago. She mentioned that she was in need of yarn. Several employees at The Cooperative responded by donating many bags of yarn, which we then delivered to the member.

"Knowing where it's going to go, it's going to help keep somebody warm," Systems Administrator Laurie Douglas said. "So, it's like one of those blessings in disguise."
