ZBear is back in the studio with a stack of original 45s from the 70s and early 80s for this ninth installment of her Yacht Rock series. As always, she will take you on an exploratory journey that will include both essential tracks and rarities. Even though the music stylings vary from song to song, they still all flow as if they were made to be played together. That is the beauty of Yacht Rock. It is essentially a made up genre that was conjured up decades after the music it represents was created. This by design allows for creative interpretation. For us at Villa Vybes Vinyl, we simply picture being on the bow of a boat on a beautiful day when we listen to potential tracks. If the song fits the scene, it's in!
