Regardless of what Xur had this week, I was planning to do a solo with using only the items he has available. I pick one of the 3 classes I feel won't be the absolute worst for the job, and get the clear with that. It's originally an idea I had last season that I never got around to, but with the downtime of the season, now's the perfect time. I might do more of these going forward as a regular thing, I'll see how this one goes.

Unfortunately, this week the weapon options weren't the greatest to pick from, and this GM is the worst for experimentation. Ideally I would've liked to use his Prometheus Lens, but as that's a special weapon, and the only primary he has available is a Shotgun, it wouldn't have really worked due to ammo constraints. While it's possible to run double special and have the ammo generation get you through, in a strike with massive bullet sponges like this, it would've been a long nightmare. So instead, I opted to use his Hawkmoon for sale. It still fits the criteria, but ideally going forward I'd like to use the weekly random exotic weapon that's being sold too.

Class and exotic choices, again both Raiden Flux and Felwinter's Helm don't really suit this strike. They'd be effectively useless for a lot of sections, other than extra add clear or dealing with Champions quicker. The meatball and boss fight they'd provide no benefit, so Titan with Hallowfire Heart was the only logical choice.

Outside of that, the run wasn't too bad. Messy start as it was after a break and I'm not too familiar with Hawkmoon. So a lot of times I'd waste a reload or miss silly shots. On the boss fight itself, if you're wondering why I didn't use the rockets or my super, it's just to prevent any risk. To use the rocket safely I'd have to jump (to avoid clipping the ledge in front of me if I got flinched at the same time), and doing so would then get the aggro of the Knight below and have him firing at me. So I decided to avoid that entirely. Not using the super feeds into the Hallowfire Heart, so I only used it at the very end when I knew it would finish off the boss.
