**If you are intending to replace/reseal your oil pan, you will need to remove the front differential cross member by cutting the tack welds. This is a bit of a pain but will make installation of the diff much easier**

Learn how to drop the front differential under your 9904 Nissan Xterra 4WD. Your method of lowering the diff might be different than mine.
