Make Ricky Gervais Laugh was a feature created by Steve during the preCapital era of XFM, the premise being that the listeners would fax in pictures or jokes to try and make Ricky laugh, winning a prize if they did.

The feature was revisited twice during the "new" show with Karl. Both times, Steve brought in news stories that had an amusinglooking picture which he hoped would make Ricky laugh.
